We are thrilled to welcome Marcos Affonso, a celebrated forró teacher from Salvador, Bahia, for a very special evening of Brazilian dance on Thursday, 15th May, right here in Portsmouth!

💃 About Marcos Affonso:
Born and raised in Salvador, Bahia, one of Brazil’s richest cultural hubs, Marcos Affonso has been immersed in dance since childhood. Professionally trained in multiple styles, Marcos graduated in Dance from the Federal University of Bahia and has spent over a decade teaching and performing across Brazil, Europe, and South America.
