Are you new to Forró? This is the course for you! Sign up for our 3 weeks Intro to Forró Course to start your Forró journey with us. We kick off on the day at 6:45pm, we don't expect you to know anything at all, you will learn all the forró essentials with us, no experience or partner needed!

About the event
Step into something new! Our beginners’ Forró classes are a relaxed and welcoming way to try this beautiful Brazilian partner dance no experience (or partner!) needed.
Doors open at 6:35pm, and we’ll begin at 6:45pm with a gentle warm-up in our cozy, fairy-lit room the perfect setting to learn the first simple steps on your own.
Then we’ll explore what Forró actually is the music, the rhythm, and the feeling that makes it so loved across Brazil. You’ll learn how to connect and move with a partner, changing partners often so you can meet new people and get comfortable dance with everyone.
Over the 4 weeks, we’ll focus on a move a week, breaking it down clearly so you understand not just the steps, but how to lead, follow, and really dance it. Because Forró isn’t about memorising routines, it’s about connection, improvisation, and joy on the dance floor.
